Angel

I made this angel from two dried leaves, a seed pod and a stick I found in the woods in Jamaica. It marked a turning point as I would later learn, and I am convinced now that angels are all around us. One just needs to look and they will be there. Ask and they will be at your side and watching over you.

Crack In the Restroom Wall

What cracked the brick there in the wall,

Could it have been simply from a fall,

By someone caught staring in the mirror,

Or just a stumble from the stall?

She cradles them in her hands for a brief moment;

Then pours them across the sun,

That a rainbow might brighten

this special day.

Monkey Whirligig

My neighbors across the street gave me this monkey and I promised to perch him on my fence and figure out how to make him wave at them. Now we wait for the wind to blow.

Music Box

Another piece I made while recovering from surgery in 2007. Not sure what the connection is between the Three Wise Men and the music, but it makes me laugh every time I play it.
